PixRenamer is a small file renaming utility for the most common renaming tasks. It's basic features include the automatic preselection of different graphic file-formats and numbering options. Handy tool for renaming lots of photos imported from digital camera's, scanners or other sources.
Although the program is merely intended for the renaming of large quantities of images, it can rename other kinds of files as well. To make
the -sometimes tricky- renaming process safer, by default the program will warn about renaming system critical files. The straightforward interface is very easy to use, while the build-in safety features and alerts make it safe and suitable for everyone.
